Ooooooooooo o! My husband has a fundamentalist uncle (who frankly I think is a wanker) and I always repeat this exact same stuff when we talk about this!

Would you mind too much if I Posted this on my blog tomorrow also? I think Prop 8 is heartbreaking.

I can't tell you how pleased I am that people outside of California (and indeed the U.S.!) are talking about this terrible situation. The California Supreme Court is due to hand down its ruling on this Prop (today, I think), and we can only hope they will overturn it as unconstitutional.

I saw this when it first came out and thought it was fantastic. Using reasoning with the bigots has been working, maybe humor will.

The judges on the California Supreme Court heard the last of the arguments yesterday. They will hand down their ruling within the next 90 days. Hopefully, it will be the just one.

On the upside, the tide is definitely shifting in this country. I heard some figures that public approval for same-sex marriages has risen by 18% over the last two years alone. Eventually, it will pass, but justice delayed is justice denied and they need to move swiftly.

It was so discouraging watching parts of the oral argument on TV here! I hope California has the balls to overturn this piece of Nazism!
Keeping my fingers crossed!

These are toooo funny!! I have got to share them with my minister. He will fall on the floor laughing. He'll especially love Jesus. Obviously we are not fundamentalists. As my husband says we are Christians with brains and we know how to use them. This was great!! Melinda
PS I still think you should have made the it into the top 5 Best dressed Men in the World.
