Feeling Better

I am feeling much better today. A little fragile but not the wreck I was yesterday.

Thank you to all those who emailed me and left comments of support. Very much appreciated. I apologise if I missed responding to anyone. I read them all and appreciate each one but don't always have the wherewithal to respond.

I'm certainly glad you are feeling better! You have had a bad patch here, lately. I hope you are able to pass this by soon. My mother used to say it is always darkest before the dawn. I wish I could provide you with more help.

Colin, sometimes as we heal our emotional sickness, the physical symptoms we felt when the emotional distress was occurring reoccurs during the healing process.

So although it's very distressing when it happens in the "now" it is a sign that you're healing up those wounds from long ago. I know this doesn't help what you're experiencing now, but it may help to know that it's doing some good.

Sorry to hear you have had the blues Colin.
She got the motorbike anyway despite my pleas, now each time the phone rings I will be terrified.

Sorry to read you have not been well, sounds as if the sudden trip by John might have triggered this. I am beginning to realise I am a bit of a control freak, never realised I was, but I think its my way of staying on top of it all. DH used to have to go off on overseas trips often with little or no warning and I always reacted badly. He never saw the impact as he was always gone by then. Fortunately I had to keep some level of composure as I had my DD to think of. You have had a lot to deal with this past week, the hassle at the pool, the puppies arriving, John going off and not being able to attend the show. That would drive any person loopy. Don't beat yourself up, be kind to yourself, give yourself time.

I was away from the computer most of the weekend, but I am very glad you are feeling better, and hope you are enjoying the puppies. They should be great with such lovely parents.
