Machine Knitting Guild

Jane (Steel Breeze) and myself. Jane was very helpful in getting my wheelchair in an out of the car for me. We got on well and felt at ease. Jane said she knew she'd be alright with me because I used the F word on the phone!

Both are of Alison Lee, the demonstrator today and a lady I already 'knew' via the knitting lists. I didn't expect to meet anyone who 'knew' me as Knitman but I met a few! Alsion was a pleasure to meet, easy to feel comfortable with. Alison is wearing her own creations.
I took these pictures of these Aran types because I really liked them. These were hand knitted.

Hi Colin, thanks for showing us a current pic of yourself. I don't wish to embarass you but you really do have such a sweet smile.
I can't imagine what kind of monster a person would have to be to abuse someone with such a sweet face.
So glad you found a 'kindred spirit' at your machine meeeting. That always help ease one into a new situation, doesn't it. Looks like a very nice group.
Thanks for sharing, got any new puppy face pics tso share?

Hi Colin,
thanks for sharing the pictures. I really like the lilac aran cardi. I need to make something like that for my mother.

thanks for posting these, the purple one is especially beautiful. The cable looks a lot like some of the Japanese patterns I've seen, I'd love to find out where the woman wearing it found that cable or if she designed it herself.

Hi Colin, love the photo - I can see from your eyes that you have come far over the last few months, they shine! Keep the light burning within you to light the way ahead, it can only get better.
I missed this show, been so busy these past few weeks its impossible.

Looks as if you guys had a lot of fun. I used to have a knitting machine, but sold it a few years ago. I became unemployed and I found that I seldom wear sweaters here in middle Tennessee. I didn't know anyone else who machine knit. I think it is wonderful that you have a group of knitters with whom to correspond.

Jealous, jealous, jealous. I am jealous of Jane. I am happy to have a new blog to relate to, though.

I am so happy you had a good time.
