Meanwhile, I'd like to thank him for illustrating so well the darkness I was writing about and the affect such religious brainwashing has on the minds of people.
Rev. Donald Spitz said...
Of course you are too much of an anti-Christian bigot to publish this, but the truth is, most, if not all problems on the planet earth are from people like you, people who reject Jesus Christ. Our prisons are filled with people, like you, who reject Jesus Christ. Most, if not all; rapes, murders, robberies and thefts are committed by people, like you, who reject Jesus Christ. AIDS is mainly spread by people who reject Jesus Christ and have sex outside of marriage. Children AIDS get it from people who reject Jesus Christ.
I hope you will turn from your sins and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and escape the fires of eternal hell. Turning from your sins and giving your life to Jesus Christ is the only way you can escape the fires of hell and receive everlasting life. If you persist in your sins and continue to turn your back on Jesus Christ, you will be lost forever.
SAY THIS PRAYER: Dear Jesus, I am a sinner and am headed to eternal hell because of my sins. I believe you died on the cross to take away my sins and to take me to heaven. Jesus, I ask you now to come into my heart and take away my sins and give me eternal life. http://www.armyofgod.com

I can almost see the spittle in the corners of this man's mouth!
These people really scare me.
Jesus didn't die for my sins-I don't believe in vicarious sacrifice-if I have thought, said or have done anything which has hurt another then the responsibility lies with me, and it's up to me to make amends.
One of principles by which I live my life is personal responsibility.
I totally respect the rights of other people to live their lives as they wish-but not when it affects the lives of others-these mis-guided people are very dangerous, but they are never going to be changed by any rational argument from others.
I wish them enlightnment-but want nothing at all to do with them.
On a lighter note, I have just been on a lovely walk with my dog.
We went over the dunes and onto the beach-a beautiful morning-birds singing, sunshine-no snow!
Have a good day, Colin-speak soon. x
I wrote to the idiot a short message asking "who's the bigot?" You'll not that (at least I thought this was so) he doesn't allow any comments on his blogs. No one who's so sure of himself and his own deluded beliefs will allow for honest discussion or any kindness towards those of other beliefs. As if telling you (or me) we're "bigots" in that tone will make us become Christians.
Also, his brutal tactics on his other pages will NOT stop abortions. I would never abort a child of mine. However, these nut cases should remember all the lives the Christian religion has murdered for their not agreeing or, IN MANY CASES, for no reason at all. Not even the fact that SOME of these babies might have been the result of some idiot religious nut thinking he's Jesus Christ incarnate and that he needed to inseminate the world. And, yes, there are LOTS of religious nuts who think things like this.
Like all religious zealots, he believes the best way to make someone "embrace" Christianity is to heat them upside the head with a nail studded 2x4 or a burning pyre.
Since he doesn't allow intrusion on his sites, perhaps he should refrain from intruding on others.
I hope he remembers any tiny little (and not so tiny, such as intolerance and nastiness) sins he's committed and gets out the sack cloth and ashes.
For "good Christians," I'll look to my in-laws. They may not understand others' views, but they're unwaveringly kind, open minded, and gentle. This guy is Adolf Hitler incarnate!
Jackass!
Colin, you're a much bigger man (well human) than me - OR him.
Would that all Christians were like Fuguestateknits.
It has brought home to me, though, how much I consider you a friend. I usually let those things go. I only fight for those I care about.
I started out to write him a note asking who he was to call you a bigot! What garbage spews from his mind. People like him are the ones that make the rest of us not want to be associated with Christians and the concepts of Christianity!
Jesus certainly wouldn't approve of his words, actions and attitudes!
In all honesty, I feel sorry for people who carry so much hatred in their souls that they need to lash out and judge others so harshly. It must be a horrible and agonizing burden, and a very lonely existence.
Maybe if he spent more time reaching out to and honestly trying to help others, he would find some measure of joy.
I always wonder where in the teachings of Jesus such folks find justification for hate and contempt. And I also wonder at their God, who seems to play favorites. According to such people, if you grow up Hindu, or Buddhist, or part of a group deep in the Amazon, quite simply you are condemned to some sort of eternal luau pit.
In my not so humble opinion, The Creator must love every single one of us, or none of us. Otherwise, it would be a pretty petty deity who picks and chooses one member of creation over another.
Nothing like letting the Rev. speak for himself!
"Most if not all problems on the planet..."
Is he on the same one as the rest of us?? Thanks for sharing this!
