well I just happen to see your Suzi Anvin comment and I had to agree...got tangled up with her a year or so...none of us have all the answers and each of us have the right to be respected and not judged for our answers...I find her offensive more often than not and like your have to turn her down.
You and I share similar lilfe pieces the longest being a 17 yo Lhasa named Hanna Mary! Are you truly a child of abuse? If so how are you handinlling it as an adult..I had been fine for many 60+ years and now it is making me angry!

Well, I can't see any post here, but did want to say one reason I have only posted once to a certain list in the past year is that some of the members are so judgmental.

That's a good article (click on the word "marriage" if you can't see it). Well written--and what a great idea!

About the marriage issue. I ma in total agreement with your link article!. If gay marriage is not recognized, we shouldn't recognize any marriage. In the US the Right asserts that true marriage as put forth in the Bible is between one man and one woman. Obviously they haven't read it! It is between one man and as many women as he wants! As far as I can tell, most people don't want that! Furthermore, my marriage is not affected by someone else's marriage! If my best friend marries an abusive drunk, that doesn't turn my marriage into an abusive one. If my beautiful daughter wants to marry her girlfriend of 3 years, who loves her and supports her in her undertakings, Go for it! My marriage is a happy one and I want the same for her! (Especially since they want children, which, for legal reasons, I prefer be born to a married couple.) Sadly, if they want to be legally married, they cannot live in the same state I do, which will limit my access to my grandchildren.
