CASHMERE SCARVES

The wine coloured scarf is John's and is 3 ends of 2/28's Mongolian Cashmere in a simple 3 x3 rib.

The grey on the left is mine and on the right is the one I am giving to my friend Gail. Both patterns are
in the machine.

The brown scarf is mine and so is the stitch pattern.
All the scarves are 2 ends of 2/28's Mongolian Cashmere.

Beautiful work as usual. For a person with physical limitations, you do the most fantastic things. I just plod along and hope to finish one project at a time within a semi-reasonable time.

Love the brown scarf's pattern and the wine colour of John's scarf. ^^

Grey is, of course, nice as well. ^_~

Colin,
Your knitting always amazes me!
On another note, I am using KoolAid to over dye yarn purchased a while back and never used due to horrid color. (eBay purchase, not ColourMart!) And am finding the KoolAid fantastic for the purpose. Your insights on the strengths of the other dyes is great info.

Nice scarves, especially like the brown one.

The pattern reminds me of the orange sweater you had offered a long while ago.

I still would love to know it you share the pattern of the orange sweater ;-)

Maybe perseveration and reminding you that you said you would send me will lead me to success or you telling me, there is no way to lern the secret ;-)

Colin, the scarves are beautiful! I'm just wondering now how one gets on your "gift list"... ;-)

The recipient will be most pleased, I'm sure! Oh, and if she doesn't happen to like it, I know just where you could send it where it will be truly appreciated!!

Your dyeing is gorgeous! You have inspired me to get back to it again - I have recently purchased some Merino roving which I hope to "play" with over our holiday break -- I recently purchased some drink mix to use for dye, now if I can just remember where I put it... I hope I can get the two together soon!
