FRESH FROM KNITMAN’S KITCHEN

Colin

Wool arrived today. It is absolutely wonderful, the colours are superb – and I say this from the vantage of my own mini sock wool mountain. However I now have the following problems:

a) socks or shawl – it is so soft and the colours are so wonderful it deserves to be on display more as a shawl but socks would be so comfortable

b) do I knit it now or do I leave it in the hank to pet it for a while

I think I will pet it for a while until I can decide which option a) I go for.

You clearly have a talent for this, I hope to be a customer again in the near future.

I was totally amused at the name "Polly Unsaturated." Good work, my friend.

I would love to see Knitman's Kitchen on line. What an incredible talent you have. I have never been able to knit, and not sure the arthritis in my thumb would let me now, but I did crochet, and this quality of yarn was not available to me in 1974. I sew, garments mostly, especially little space themed shirts for the 5 year old grandson who is crazy about NASA. He was expecting shirts for Christmas, but we gave him something else instead. Now I have to catch up.

I will be making some jackets soon, and maybe some of your yarn would make lovely trim. Maybe something New Mexico or Grand Canyon themed in color.
