This one is 100% Baby Alpaca called Peru. I used acid milling dyes, as I did on Mackenzie Blue, which is 80% merino and 20% bamboo, and also on Chopsticks . Vine is Blue Faced Leicester with 25% nylon. The next one, Winter Holiday, I dyed using Kool Aid. I almost binned this because I thought it looked awful but once it was cooked, it became this. I am glad I waited.
Another long stretch, but hoping to be more regular

My goodness! I think Winter Holiday is the best of all. I like them all, but that's so pretty and different. I'm glad you waited, too.
Uhh! Ohhh!
Beautiful!
Can't wait to see it knit up!
Don't throw any away - nearly everything will be improved with a little overdyeing!
No need to throw away ones you don't like...dye them again!!!!! What have you got to loose? And much to gain!
Colors are beautiful!
Beautiful skeins Colin! My favorite is the Winer Holiday!
I love all the colors! The blue-purple-green is wonderful, and I really like the way Winter Holiday turned out, too.
LOVE the colors!! Beautiful job on the dyeing!!! Also know that I don't say that lightly as I am EXTREMELY critical of dyeing since a friend of mine is a professional (and not just someone who sells her dyeing, she is someone who does professional color matching, etc.).
Your color combinations are SPECTACULAR! I can't wait until YOU go "professional" yourself and start selling your work...
I do some (very amateur) dyeing myself and have not come up with anything even remotely as nice as yours -- I hope you enjoy it and keep it up as it is beautiful "eye candy" for the rest of us, even if you don't ever decide to sell anything.
Winter Holiday is beautiful!
Whenever you're tempted to throw something away, you can send it to me....or anybody else who reads here, too.
Of have a raffle or a contest, we'd fight over your rejects!

Really lovely colours, I live the Vine. I also love the way the Revolution knitted up.
Winter Holiday is the perfect respite from the gray, dreary winter I'm seeing out my window. Very aptly named.
I second Susies statement.
Before you throw yarn out, make an announcement, and see, who would like to have it.
There always are people willing to have a go at things, others dont like.
I loved Winter holiday the best of this batch.
The others are vibrant and sure will make a good sock, they are just absolutely not my choice of colours :-)
I will anxiously be awaiting the finished projects.
Colin, Your dyeing has worked so well..looking forward to seeing the next batch!
