These two image are of the centre of Trier, Germany. We have been here before in 2005 on our way to Lake Konstanz.

It is a nice little town and has good clothes shopping and yarn shops.

I bought a Trachten suede jacket and shirt. I love traditional German clothing (Bavarian).

It peed down with rain and we had to buy a rain mac each. I had to phone Lia to ask her what to ask for. She told us a 'regan mantel'. Not the correct spelling but by saying it we were directed to the right place and bought two long plastic ones. With added sunglasses we could have looked like cheap FBI!

I think that foot looks like it needs a sock, and you've got a lot of stash...;-)

Fooey. I might have known someone would beat me to saying that giant foot needs a sock. ;-) Seems to me I read somewhere once, of a woman who sits at the top of a flight of stairs in some museum and does nothing but knit. It is performance art, and I wish I could remember the name. Her work was quite voluminous when I first read about it a couple of years ago. This giant foot, at least, would be a finite project, yes? Well, I like the idea anyway, but know you have a lot of more interesting things going on in your life. Sorry to read you're more under the weather than usual, and hope you feel better soon.
