I've not attempted an Aran sweater, yet. I did do a large scale pattern on an afghan once and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Oh, Colin! This is just so beautiful. I wish I had the patience for that. As you know, I don't even have the dedication to finish a pair of socks! That's just the most gorgeous sweater.

Love your Aran, especially because you use such fine yarn and needles. The different drape is so rewarding!
