Merino/Angora Garter Stitch Sweater

I knit this using the garter carriage on a Brother 940. It is my own design. The yarn is 75% Extrafine Merino and 25% Angora. I used 2 strands of 2/28, which equates to 2/14 weight and 700mtrs to 100gm.

Very chic! I love the modified raglan sleeve head. Do I remember you writing about that before? I would love to know how that goes together.

Colin, the socks are beautiful (as usual), but the sweater is absolutely gorgeous! Wonderful designs and colors, both of them.

Colin,

Checked out your blog spot.  The sweater is beautiful.  I love the detail especially around the armholes.  I liked the color.  It looks like a perfect fit.  Good Job!!  The socks look wonderful.

Colin,

Your sweater (and socks!) are absolutely beautiful. I love your designs!

By the way, congratulations on the swimming as well. I just started
swimming also and am enjoying it (so far). It's tough work, but feels
great knowing you accomplished it.

Keep up the good work!

Beautiful sweater, Colin. I love the color. Did that
yarn go smoothly through the GC? You said there was
angora in it and wonderd if the fluff got caught on
the gatepegs at all.

Hi Colin,

Lovely sweater and color in the yarn quality that's my all-time
favorite! Who did you buy it from?
I love the detail along the AH too.

Colin - very nice s usual. Really love the sleeve treatment. Trying to
figure out how you did the diagonal band on it.
