FANCY A CUPPA?

I have a thing for cups and mugs. Some kitsch, some cute, some stylish. All appeal for their own reasons.

WOW! What a collection! That's one thing I think I really love about you Colin, you have eclectic tastes and aren't afraid to share them. WAY COOL for you! Lucky for US! Thanks so much for the pics - I couldn't even pick just one favorite; they're all so neat. Enjoy!

Those are great! I love cups too, but I don't have much room, so I have to do with a select few. Tom loved Dalmatians and his Dalmatian cup is now retired and sitting atop my refrigerator in honor, and Michael the cat's bowl is also on display where Maria can't get at it.

I understand your collection completely. I thought I had a lot but you win! Somes days after work I feel like bone china with yellow roses..Day off is hand thrown pottery mug...Morning is my pink cancer awarness beaker. It all depends on whether it is tea, coffee, cocoa or a herbal potion. Time, place and mood of the moment affect the decision process. Makes perfect sense to me...;o)

Me too!
Me too!
I have the Sagi mug.
Someone once told me that people who love mugs weren't breast fed!
I wasn't-who cares now, I love my mugs!

They're wonderful in their variety! I used to collect cups and mugs, too, but I ran out of room and had to give most of them away, sadly. I do have a collection of mis-matched china coffee cups that used to belong to Mom. Everyone covets them and I haven't even used them in ages. But I love looking at them. They are the bright spot of the dining room. :)

We have a varied collection of mugs here too - I think most people do. From yours, I love the art deco mugs (Charles Rennie McIntosh?) and the one with the Lhasa head stretching out.

My favourite brand of cup or mug was Dunoon, but I think they've gone out of business.

Old Forge is only about an hour from us! Have you actually visited or was this a gift?

I like the plain white one with the slanted/twisted handle. It looks as though it might be very comfortable to hold. Is it?
