Thank you for the photos, Imelda ... er, Colin. I'm so jealous! Not only do you have a far better shoe wardrobe than I do, you have a swell spousal unit who will build storage for them.
I have about three pairs of shoes. I'm just not into them, and don't care as long as they are comfortable and not totally hideous. My mother and Rachael, both love shoes and have many, many, many pairs. My poor mom could just not understand why I was not thrilled with the shoes she gave me. Unfortunately, she also could not understand that my feet were a lot bigger than she thought they were.
JEALOUS!! All that color on the walls, and available to wear!!! They're beautiful, Colin. I have two pair of shoes to my name--but then, I have two very different sized and shaped feet, and it's hard to find a good fit for both feet. I dream of having this kind of collection--so I'll live my shoe fantasies vicariously through you, 'k?
Here I thought I was bad at 45+ pairs of Docs! Kudos to you, and I see we have some pairs in common! My mom pointed me here for the shoes, and I am staying for the knits!
LOVE.
the shoes, the shelves, everything about these pics!
Reminds me of the scene in the movie Love Story, where Oliver and Jenny drive up to Oliver's father's mansion in his old beat up model T Ford, and she makes him back up at the gate. Then you hear her say, "HOLY SHIT!"
