MY HUSBAND'S LATEST PAIR

These socks were knitted for my husband, John.

I used 2.25mm Chiao Goo needles. I knitted them toe up using my own Andersson Tow Up Method. The yarn is one I picked up in a German hypermarket named GLOBUS.
The design is my own using st st and garter stitch.
I used the Andersson Heel Mach II with a varied gusset.

Really nice! I see you have, truly, broken the brown/gray/blue barrier. Congratulations! Now, can you tell me how you did it? How did you convince John to spread his wings and fly? I am tired of knitting brown/gray/blue socks for Jim.

I never thought of combining garter and stockinette. Did you have to adjust because the two stitches are different heights? I love the look, and the way you made mirror-image socks.

This is really so beautiful design, Love its stitches , and the heel's design really adds more to this sock. Very good.

They are beautiful, Colin, from the design to the color. Well done! When are you going to publish a book of your techniques and designs?

Colin! These are wonderful! I have to agree with Judi Seal who asks: "When are you going to publish a book of your techniques and designs?" I have often wondered this myself! :-) It's always a joy to see the results of your latest creative thoughts!
