TUBE SOCKS

This is the first pair of Tube socks I have knitted. Knitted this way as this is what the recipient wanted. Surprisingly, and rather annoyingly, they fit really well despite no heel shaping. the yarn is one of the SuperSocke 100 ones. Knitted using Chiao Goo 2mm circulars. Knitted simultaneously so that each sock is finished almost at the same time.

I've never worn tube socks. Should I try it? After seeing these, I may try. Somehow, though, I kind of like the process of heels. You've inspired me again, though.

I love its stripe , and its color. seems comfortable . Now after you did it tell us how it is? is it good to wear it? any bad sides about doing it or wearing it? You are brave to try something new, now it is your turn to tell us more about it. :-) :-)

Did you keep the whole sock at the same stitch count after the toe?

As always, lovely work! I am amazed they seem to fit so well without the heel. I am now more tempted to make a pair for my still-growing son. Both children want hand-knitted socks like I have, but I have not been willing to make socks that will be outgrown so quickly.

Love the tube socks. I wind my ball of sock wool in half then knit both socks at once so that my colour repeat is the same, did you knit yours from the middle and the outside of the ball.strips are different !

Tamara-nope. I don't care. However, of course this was wound and done as you suggested because one has to make it two balls. It made no difference. Life is far too short to worry about uniformity. I am not that type of person.
