Aran Sweater Front

This is my own design and is going to be for me. I knitted it using 3.75mm KnitPicks Options. the yarn is a pure wool yarn, 2/8's used twofold, which works out at about 200m per 100gr. This is taking me a while as it is rather hard on my hands. I am happy with it though. It is raglan in shape with a round neck. I will decide on the collar once I am ready to knit it. The knitting you see will flatten out once it has been washed but it will retain it's relief well. I really like this AirForce Blue colour.

I found your comment on the aran yahoo group and had to look it up...This is lovely!! I have fallen in love with cables again, after a long time of knitting more lace and colour stuff.

Very nice. If I ever finish it, I have a 'sort of' Aran I am working on for myself. Grey, however. I do agree, the color, as much as I can tell on the screen I have, is nice.

Gasp!!! Perhaps it's that wonderful blue; maybe it's Colin's perfect
stitches; could be the fact that I'm a fool for mirrored cables; most
likely, it's all three together that make it so fiendishly handsome. Great
work!

Well Colin,
I do love your sweater and your knitting, it is truely wonderful. I have been a "peeker" for a while. That's one reason I joined your group to knit some socks, of all the things I knit, not a pair of socks in the bunch. So today I finished spinning the wool for my socks!
I am afraid you and I would have some "heated" discussions on some of the other topics you have posted about on your blog though :)) But like I had posted in the traditional knitting list "if you would all agree with me on everything we would get along great!" Although I must confess, it may be alittle bit boring :))
Thanks for posting your pictures.
