This is my own design and is going to be for me. I knitted it using 3.75mm KnitPicks Options. the yarn is a pure wool yarn, 2/8's used twofold, which works out at about 200m per 100gr. This is taking me a while as it is rather hard on my hands. I am happy with it though. It is raglan in shape with a round neck. I will decide on the collar once I am ready to knit it. The knitting you see will flatten out once it has been washed but it will retain it's relief well. I really like this AirForce Blue colour.
Another long stretch, but hoping to be more regular

Wow! It's beautiful, Colin! I'm very impressed -- just a wonderful sweater :-)
I found your comment on the aran yahoo group and had to look it up...This is lovely!! I have fallen in love with cables again, after a long time of knitting more lace and colour stuff.
Nice!
I love the feathers! It's going to be gorgeous - nice color, too.
Very nice. If I ever finish it, I have a 'sort of' Aran I am working on for myself. Grey, however. I do agree, the color, as much as I can tell on the screen I have, is nice.

Gasp!!! Perhaps it's that wonderful blue; maybe it's Colin's perfect
stitches; could be the fact that I'm a fool for mirrored cables; most
likely, it's all three together that make it so fiendishly handsome. Great
work!

Another Aran Knitting group member here. I love it. What yarn are you using. It has such lovely stitch definition!

Colin, it's beautiful.
Have you considered selling your patterns? Your designs are always dead-on striking.
Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous. I really love relief patterns. Hmmm...
Inspiration....
Well Colin,
I do love your sweater and your knitting, it is truely wonderful. I have been a "peeker" for a while. That's one reason I joined your group to knit some socks, of all the things I knit, not a pair of socks in the bunch. So today I finished spinning the wool for my socks!
I am afraid you and I would have some "heated" discussions on some of the other topics you have posted about on your blog though :)) But like I had posted in the traditional knitting list "if you would all agree with me on everything we would get along great!" Although I must confess, it may be alittle bit boring :))
Thanks for posting your pictures.
Completely impressive design and execution!
OMG, your knitting is fabulous. The stitch definition is absolutely gorgeous. I'm ENVIOUS!
LOVELY! Great job!
The design is beautiful, Colin. I'll be watching to see the finished sweater. You're right, the color is perfect. Thanks for sharing.
