The hat is green and bought on Ebay. The shoes are Kickers, also bought on Ebay. The jumper is cashmere , knitted by me on my fine gauge SR830. The jeans are Cold Harbour and dyed green using Dylon. The jacket I bought in Trier, Germany.

fantastic!
That really is a handsome ensemble.
Your Dylon dyeing has really worked out well.
I love all the green!

Your pullover is magnificent! The green goes to you very well,Cath.
Well, Colin, I am green too... with envy!
And I am also a very green knitter, with lots of progress to do before I can knit something
1/10th as good as that green sweater from a not-green-at-all knitter.
Not to mention, of course, the lovely colour of jeans and shoes.
I shall never been afraid again of little green men from outer space: if they dress like you,
welcome!
Is it Colourmart cash? which count? and which stitch and gauge?
If I may say so, Colin, you look very fine.

I love the look on your face - you look like you are plotting mischief!!
Kate
I LOVE your green outfit. And, your great smile....which gives you a bit of
a leprechaun look! Be sure to dress thusly on March 17th.........
Very chic Colin.
Kewl! What a great outfit! I love what you are doing with festive colo(u)rs these days.
I just got back from saying "enough is enough" at the polls. Go Obama!
Colin
You have a good style sense. How does the dylon dye hold up through
washings?
I love the whole outfit. The colours all work beautifully!!!

Fantastic work (and imagination, Colin!
Best,
Linda
You make me smile. :-) You look so happy and I love the clothes.
Dapper, very dapper! But when you mentioned it on the Townie list, I instantly thought of a childrens TV program way back when. There was a farmer and his name was
Mr. Green Jeans. What a hoot!
So just add a hoe to your ensemble and you will complete my visual.LOL
Just kidding, you are a handsome one, for sure.

Colin, thanks for the shout out, LOL!:) Right now I am almost in tears of joy. It's a new day for my country. I pray we have the courage to do what we need to do to turn the US of A around. To see young kids dancing in Chicago to Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed Delivered - I'm Yours" is a moment that is hard to describe. I remember growing up in NY and watching the news in the early sixties when little children were murdered because of the color of their skin, something I couldn't understand then or now. To see Barack Obama and all that he represents getting into the White House on what can only be described as a LANDSLIDE is such an emotional moment I can barely stand it.
THANK GOD!!!!!!!!
Now let me tell you how I really feel:)!!!
Colin, you are so dashing!!
Colin, you look utterly delightful, and thank you for the photo!
It gave me great joy.
Best wishes,
Anna
You look SO dapper, Colin!

Colin,
I love the sweater, jeans and boots you look marvelous! (have the old Billy
Crystal Saturday Night Live skits ever been aired over there?) I scrolled
down and saw the other outfits. So much FUN! I don’t visit your blog
often but boy when I do I always want to read forever. Thank you for
sharing!
Lui says you look like Robin Hood--I think that's in keeping with Obama's win--brown and green are among my favorite color combinations. Great outfit!
Wow! Colin, What a snazzy dresser you are, I just love the green ensemble
and the cashmere sweater looks so professional.
Thanks for sharing.
Happy Knitting,

It is a lovely green! I do like dying stuff too but sometimes it bothers me that the stitching sticks out like a sore thumb.....white stitches on purple trousers...and I have to unpick the topstitching and do it over in the right colour.
No problem for you Colin or do you topstitch again too? Greetings from Holland, Marcella
your green outfit is so cool! I have to get me a pair of shoes in that color of green! And then knit me some pink socks to go with them! The jeans really took the dye well. I'll have to try something like that.
Oops - forgot to tell you how really nice you look in that green - what a beautiful outfit!
You are one popular dude on the internet - I went to check on my blog and there were some 166 hits on it yesterday - I do well to get about 10, LOL:)
all the referrals were from your site. Well, my friend I hope you don't mind, but I sorta kinda turned the tables on you (gee golly you get all 10 of my hits today, LOL!:)). I quoted your post from today verbatim.
If you object, please let me know and I'll take it down.
You just said it so well.
Take care,
Joan
