Hi Colin,
very lovely socks. The colour and the pooling are great as well. ^^
Have a nice holiday in Germany. ^_~

I love the color! So pretty I mean distinquished...;)
Nice ones!
Mr beest has completely changed since I first met him in wearing colours, so it's not unusual. Grey and black is boring (now), according to him, and he likes his socks loud and colourful, and is always on the hunt for jeans in non-conventional colours and purple shirts. He does complain that women get all the fun (i.e. nice coloured) clothes, and I think he has a point. Good thing I can help out with the knitting.
Kudos to John and his new-found color love. Nice socks, Colin.
The socks are beautiful and John is the lucky receiver. Are those John's feet in the picture or Colin's ?
Beautiful socks! Your color sense must be rubbing off on John.
those are awesome!
Those are extremely attractive socks. Great color! Nice pooling. I'm a fan of pooling too.
..they look really fantastic..
I wish you a great weekend..

As always, gorgeous. Glad John is enjoying branching out in his world! It makes sock knitting for him more fun!
Have a wonderful vacation! Already looking forward to seeing all the pics. I live vicariously in your travels!
Great socks Colin, love the colour.
The yarn has pooled nicely.
Maybe John has decided to follow your lead and add a dash of colour to his wardrobe. Being a 'grey man' next to your splendid and colourful outfits can't be much fun. ;-)
Have a great holiday both of you.
Take care
Ann.
what a good looking pair of socks.
And the heel construction is something, I love and will include in my repertoire to teach Diana.
Hope we still want to meet at the agreed on date with Lia?
nana. changed my blogger name :-)
Really like those gussets! Is there a pattern available for these? On Ravelry?
