Daniel Craig Is Finished

Okay, Daniel Craig is done.

All done using one 100cm 2.25mm Hiya Hiya needle. 3x3 ribbing, German Strap Heel which is just an oblong Dutch Heel.

The yarn is by Regia. Nordic Colour, 5510.

(see Road To Ruin post below for explanation of the name.)

Beautiful colorway, so warm! I understand you couldn't resist it :-) And... different heel?

This sock (and, presumably, the brother sock) is gorgeous. I have to say, though, that I would have walked right by the ball of yarn. I guess that I am not very good at visualizing the finished product. You obviously have a very good eye. Pretty talented hands, too.

That is one handsome sock, babycakes!

Me likey. The Online bamboo is aslo a varigated (not sure if that's the correct word) yarn but more subtle with the colours. HOpe you have lots and lots of fun in Heidelberg. And I'll keep my fingers crossed for the weather for you.

Hi Colin,

Now THOSE I really like!! I think Mr. Craig is my favorite. I love
the colors, they're there yet subdued. Not too bright. You've really
done well catching up on all of your matching socks.

Now...about those sweaters......or is there a Sean Connery hiding in
there that sock yarn somewhere????

PS. How is Luna doing?? Can't wait to see the new family!!

Smiles, Lauren

I like the socks. I don't find Regia in those colores around here. I like the german heel; it's what I learned in school.

Yum, Colin, those Daniel Craigs are superb. That yarn looks great on the ball, and great knitted up as well. Such rich colours, subtly blended. Well done.

Congrats on your impending litter! How exciting, your dogs are so gorgeous. Have fun in Heidelberg.
