My German friends at the University in Mainz (which should give you an idea about how LONG AGO this was when last I was in Europe!) used to say "Die spinnen die Amies" (Those Americans are nuts....)
I think that would be an apt commentary on my last comment!
Hope you enjoy Salzburg!
Hugs,
JoanFuguesStateKnitshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14271842690827237203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14603206.post-53102231859062410392009-03-27T16:28:00.000+00:002009-03-27T16:28:00.000+00:00John probably would not be enjoying the trip at al...John probably would not be enjoying the trip at all if you were not there, so keep that in mind when you feel that you are burdening him. I doubt he feels that way at all. The person that I was married to once had physical limitations which somewhat curtailed what we did, and I was never resentful. I just revised my expectations. No one can do all the fun things there are to do, so one selects the things one can do. Just as many, but a different selection. I daresay John feels the same.joannamauselinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15704088243529623023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14603206.post-16062071881195019052009-03-27T03:58:00.000+00:002009-03-27T03:58:00.000+00:00From what I've learned so far of our wonderful POT...From what I've learned so far of our wonderful POTUS, he'd feel blessed to get to know you! I hope he cheered as you got across safely! I know I would have;)
Hope you can safely enjoy what appears to be a quite lovely vacation!
